We conduct research centered on understanding healthy cognitive and functional aging. It is our vision to serve as an innovative and enduring resource that contributes to cutting-edge research. We work closely with our partners to maximize the rich data contributions of our study participants by sharing data and supporting collaborations whenever feasible.

The ACT Study U19 Research Program Data Sharing Plan describes current and planned approaches to data sharing, and specific processes by which ACT data resources may be used and shared between collaborating institutions and by external entities.
The ACT Junior and Early Career Investigators Group is a community for trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and early‑career faculty engaged in research using ACT data or collaborating with the ACT Study. The group was established to foster peer connection, mentorship, and visibility for early‑career researchers within the ACT community. Activities have included junior investigator lunches at the ACT Symposium, informal works‑in‑progress discussions, peer check‑ins, and sessions with senior ACT investigators focused on career development and navigating ACT resources.
The group maintains an email listserv to facilitate communication and to share opportunities relevant to junior investigators. Members of the group are also encouraged and supported to apply for the junior investigator speaking opportunities at the annual ACT Symposium. All junior and early‑career researchers (graduate students, postdocs, fellows, and early‑career faculty) interested in ACT or working with ACT data are welcome to join the listserv and participate as opportunities arise.
